- You want to refill your beer : Mas/Mbak Tolong tambah beer nya. If you translate refill into Bahasa it is "isi ulang". But this word is unusual for us. isi ulang usually use for gallon drinking water. Therefore you can say "tambah" instead of isi ulang.
- You want to change the plate :Mas/Mbak tolong ganti piringnya,
- You need forks/spoon/knife: Mas/Mbak, minta garpu/sendok/pisau ya...
- If the foods you ordered take a long time, you can ask: Mas/Mbak, kok makanannya lama sekali.
- You want to go to the toilet : Mas/Mbak, toiletnya di mana ya?
- If the food you order is wrong : Mas/Mbak, saya tidak pesan makanan ini

Wow, great comment!sounds critical..
There are a lot of meaning of "ya"..., depends on your sentences. Above sentences refer to "please". But you are right generally it shows familiarity to people.
When a kid is nagging on something .... Mommy, aku mau es krim ya......" it refers to please mom, I want an ice cream.

But..
I thought that to use "ya" at the end of sentence, which means just try to show familiar to people.
Doesn't means "please". So I believed that people don't often use "ya" in the formal place such as seminar or presentation. Um.. I am not sure & just believed so...Am i right ^^?
